Hi all

I have the red boots on.

have rung and left another message with the rheumatology nurses and I have formally applied for more support hours through direct payments.

Thanks so much for your support. I am keeping going, and still fighting, not giving up!

red boots on!

Jenni xx

Go you Jenni,

Too many people let things like this get them down, glad you have the fighting spirit, we need more like you. How are you today? brighter I hope, and how is little Bernice, I hope she is better too. Kids go up and down but they bounce back very quickly. I really hope you get approval from the consultant to try the machine Jean has. If you can strengthen your muscles you will gradually get stronger. Keep a powerful positive mind, YOU can get through this and WILL get through this. Looking forward to the next get together when I can meet you all. Love Lorna xx

Well done Jenni - I hope you got a response. You really shouldn't have to be doing this when you are so ill and Bernie is off colour. Hope she is feeling a bit better.

Bernice has seemed MUCH better today- no temperature, a little on the pale and droopy side but had a whale of a time at toddler group etc. that little prayer last night seems to be working, just hoping it was the last throws of the infection and now it has passed.

Been trying to sort out a change of medication so I can have this set of tests in hospital on May 13th. I got a garbled message on my mobile from the endocrine nurse, there should have been a letter etc. The GPs say I cant stop beta blockers and Blood Pressure meds (atenalol for my speedy heart and ramipril for the BP) just like that and start the new medication (what was it called again, umm doxoceen?)

I dont want to be starting a new powerful med just before a bank holiday as there is rubbish out of hours provision.

so Im not going to be ready to have this test on the 13th, for renin, but I can still have the one for cortisole levels during the day.

anyway

Michael is not here this evening (just as well judging on his behaviours this wk...Confused ) and richard and I have sean lock dvd and some wine and cheese.

much love to all

Jenni xx

Hi Jennie,

It seems a shame the different departments have not got their heads together on this before now so that you were ready for the tests.

I'm so pleased Bernice is feeling better , hope she sleeps well so that you and Richard can enjoy your cosy night in!Wink

Love, Doreen xx

Hi Jenni,

Never, ever abandon those red boots!!!!

Glad Bernice is on the mend, and hope you and Richard enjoyed the wine and cheese - such a good combination I always think. The best sort of combination therapy perhaps!

Take care,

Kathleen x

If ever there was a fighter, Jenni, it was you! Don't let them get you down. Glad to hear Bernice is a little better.
